Warning!

If only your dog came with a "service engine" light, right?  Well, does she have any of the below?  If so, time to get her dental health evaluated, because none of the below is a good sign. Or bring her by and we'll check under the hood -- er, snout -- and let you know what we recommend.  Dental bacteria can spread throughout your pup's body and affect her organs, so get on it!

1. Bad breath: no, dog breath ain't normal.

2. Discolored teeth: again, not just something that you should "expect" in older dogs.

3. Swollen or irritated or bright red gums: think how much that'd bother you!

Since our canine companions have a furry coat we rarely think about sun damage. But, dogs can develop lumps and bumps just like us, so it's important to get familiar with the landscape of their skin in case something sketchy pops up. It's always best if you can catch it early.
