Where Everybody Knows Your Name

We love a good David and Goliath story, and now we're in one of our own.  PetSmart has opened up next to us in Jupiter and you know what?  We're actually looking forward to it.  We're looking forward to proving again how small local businesses make this country a better place. After all, small businesses are responsible for 2 out of every 3 new jobs, make up over 99% of U.S. employer firms, and are industry leaders in innovation.

Pet Groomerie is owned and operated by Tim and Jessica Vogel, whose two young sons can often be seen playing ping pong in the playroom at the office.  They live in Jupiter and their kids go to the local schools.  They built Pet Groomerie from the ground up because they're passionate about dogs and dog people.  Their dog Aggie was the original mascot for the company.  And they know that the Pet Groomerie and Scenthound families will remain as true and as loyal as their pups are.  Because dog people are good people:  faithful, kind, and selfless.

Besides, we're just better.  Here's how:

First, our people know what they're talking about.  We work at Pet Groomerie because we believe in our mission and we're passionate about dogs.  We don't just have jobs, we're building careers that make a difference. Our training is ongoing, and we want to share our knowledge with you to empower you to be the best human you can be.

Second, we're all about personal relationships. We know your pups personally and truly love them as if they were our own.  We love sharing photos of them on Facebook and Instagram.  We're constantly taking part in community events for charity, partnering with other small businesses, and educating folks face-to-face about responsible dog ownership.

Third, we're independent, which means we can change and adapt as often as we like in order to meet the needs and desires of our customers and their dogs.  This makes us flexible, ahead of the curve, and forward-thinking.  It means we actually listen and respond.  It means that your pup's well-being-- not a command from corporate HQ -- is the motivator for everything we do.

Fourth, we love what we do, which means that we're happy to see you when you walk in the door.  We're not resting on our laurels, counting on our big name to bring people in even if the customer service is sub-par.  You are our focus, we greet you with a smile, and we're happy to help in whatever way we can.

Fifth, we specialize.  We don't try to be all things to all people, making no one happy in the end. We're small, so you can clearly see what we offer right when you walk in the door, and our salons are clean, bright, well-organized, and efficient. Our people focus on only dog grooming, care, and maintenance.  The products we sell are hand-picked and carefully curated so you won't be overwhelmed. (We also actually know what they're for and how to use them!)

So let those big dogs run all they want.  We'll be there to greet you with glee every time you walk in the door.  Wag on.
